Consignment
At Sky Walker we take pride in consigning your deadstock sneakers with the lowest commission rate (only 10% on our end!) and most flexible terms in the game. Pull out your pairs whenever you need to, we don't hold them hostage. The whole point is to get your shoes sold so if you sell them elsewhere, that's great! We pay out weekly via PayPal or in store via check.
Please read the consignment contract below and if you are interested in consigning with us, bring in your pairs, message us on Facebook, or call us at (224) 315-1000 and ask for Jae. You will come into the store to sign a contract or if from out of town, we will email you a contract to sign and return then set up shipping procedures to get your pairs to us.
SKY WALKER CONSIGNMENT CONTRACT
Pricing. SKY WALKER will make every effort to obtain the highest reasonable price for the items and, in any event, will accept no less than the minimum price set forth in the agreement attached without approval by Consignor. SKY WALKER does not guarantee your items will sell whether expressed or implied.
SKY WALKER sets appropriate prices on items based upon a combination of experience, knowledge of market trends, current resale values, the demand for the item, and the condition. SKY WALKER retains the right to accept or decline any item for consignment at their sole discretion.
Percentage of Commission. SKY WALKER will be entitled to retain a percentage of the sale price for all goods sold pursuant to this agreement. Our terms are a percentage of the sale based on the actual price when sold. You, the Consignor will receive 90% of the selling price. ______ (initials)
Advertise. SKY WALKER agrees to advertise item(s) and use other alternative marketing promotions to sell said items. SKY WALKER further retains the right to advertise items for sale as they see fit.
Condition of Items. SKY WALKER will only sell, buy or trade items that are authentic, clean, and in deadstock (brand new, never worn, and with original box) condition.
Payment. Consignor will receive payment via PayPal each Sunday for items sold the previous Sunday-Saturday. (Example: All items sold from Sunday January 1-Saturday January 7 will be paid via PayPal on Sunday January 8. It is the Consignor’s responsibility to provide an active, working PayPal email to SKY WALKER. If PayPal is not functioning or Consignor is unable to create PayPal account under extreme circumstances, monies will be paid via check and available to pick up in person. If paid via check, check will be available on the 1st of every month for the previous month. (Example: If being paid by check, all monies owed to consigner for the month of October will be available on November 1.) Monies not collected within one year of activity are forfeited to SKY WALKER and inactive accounts closed. ________(initials) Checks will be marked void after 120 days.
Consignment Period. The consignment period is for sixty (60) days. _____ (initial) If your consignment period ends with no sale, Consignor must contact SKY WALKER within fourteen (14) days to be reclaimed or to renew for another consignment period. Consigned items not retrieved after the expiration of their 60‐day contract and the passage of the 14‐day grace period may become the property of SKY WALKER.
Reclaiming your item. You MAY reclaim any item before the end of your consignment period without penalty. It is the responsibility of the Consigner to monitor the expiration date of your consignment items, as SKY WALKER does not have the resources to guarantee reminder calls.
Liability. If any item provided to SKY WALKER for resale by the Consigner is found to be counterfeit or SKY WALKER incurs any liability as a result of the sale of such an item, the Consigner agrees to indemnify SKY WALKER for any damages including any theft, and all judgments, liens, fines, etc. _____ (initial)
Terms. SKY WALKER reserves the right to review the terms of this contract and to make reasonable adjustments as necessary. SKY WALKER also reserves the right to terminate this or any contract without notice.
Our number one priority is selling your items at the highest possible profit for you. We want to make consigning easy for you – and us – so we can showcase them in our store and on our website to sell quicker for you. Not all items will be showcased on website.
Please do not consign an item if you do not agree with our procedures.
